NYRR Websites: [Story] [Photos] [Video]
Three trophies for RRR ladies, Laura DiMarino (2nd Overall, 1st masters finisher and Josephine Patten (1st, 50-54). Sarah Muhlbradt also took home 1st in her age group while placing 4th overall and running 32:10.
This was a team race but only for the gentlemen, but several RRR women went along to keep our fella’s in line. It was nice weather, typical for this time of year. Ernest commented before the race, “can’t use the weather as an excuse today!” Then we teased with the group about other good excuses that you could use if you did poorly. Mike Nusblatt commented that he had a few he could share. Fortunately that wasn’t the case and the participants from team RRR did quite well. Kathy Daly was a familiar voice from the sideline, she volunteered for the event and supported her friends by making sure her area ran smoothly, thank you Kathleen you rock as a course marshall! John Singer and Laura are in the NYRR photos and Bernard Patten made the video. Photo’s below show team RRR and Laura getting her award at the awards ceremony.](RRRnews070617_files/image300.gif)
