You can never register too soon because it will be here before you know it. The weather was beautiful in Central Park on Saturday, cool and breezy. Almost 40 members attended the championship race and picnic. The transportation, and picnic breakfast including Mimosas, baked goods and bagels donated by David’s Bagels On route 303 provided enough motivation to bring Team RRR success. Although our team was missing some key players the depth of our contingent made for several top 10 team placings. 40+ women finished 5th ( L. DiMarino, S. LaBurt, S. Shrem) Open Women were 9th (DiMarino, LaBurt, Casey, Chalfin, Devine) 60+ women finished 5th ( Kaminer, Indyke, Finger) 50+ women finished 7th (Patten, Wolff, Kaminer) 50+ Men Teamed up for 10th (Patten, Nusblat, Joseph) 60+ Men took 7th (Freiband, O’Donnell, Singer) A great big RRR thanks to Cheryl Langus for coordinating the transportation and the Picnic in the park. ORC and Sullivan have invited us to attend. The event will be held at Minisink Valley High School at 6 pm. 800m, 1600m, 3200m, and 2 relays 4x800m and 4 x 1600m For those interested you can contact Ernest or Laura. We would like to put together some relays to represent RRR. Food afterwards and families are welcome.
