Ernest Joseph is in the process of creating a monthly workout calendar that will highlight all the group work outs and races going on in the Rockland Road Runners world. Another year has gone by and Team RRR has completed it 3rd season competing in the NYRR Club Points Series. In three short years Rockland Road Runners has managed to gain enough momentum to be noticed. Several members have shined for RRR and have managed to get the team in the running in several categories. Our Ladies team continues to grow and flourish and several members have placed in the trophy slots nearly all season long. The Joel Klienerman 10K in Central Park this past Sunday was quite competitive as everyone who is anyone and their brother showed up to grab some final points. Shiela Casey and Josephine Patten faired well taking home hardware for their efforts. Sheila continues to post personal bests and ran a speedy 39:15 to take forth in the 30-39 age group. Josephine was 2nd in her 50-55 age group laying down another solid effort, one which should secure a nomination for runner of the year in her age group. Cheryl Langus was quite pleased with her race, she ran a personal best. All the rest of us ran well, enjoying the chilly but comfortable weather. http://www.nyrr.org/ For additional information visit the NYRR website. We are pleased to inform you that the Diplomat Health and Swim Club and Rockland Road Runners has partnered on a program to provide members the ability to Aqua jog at their facility.
