Can you handle the Hook?
The Hook Mountain Half Marathon* is accurately measured (13.1 miles), very challenging and beautifully scenic. Start & finish at Rockland Lake State Park North Pavilion. Take a lap around Rockland Lake, down Hook Mountain (and we mean DOWN) to the trail along the Hudson River, north along the trail to Haverstraw and return.

The 5K Run (3.1 miles) is a flat scenic loop around Rockland Lake.

T-Shirts guaranteed to 700 pre-registrants. Limited or no availability for race day registrants.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:

7:15 - 8:15 Check-In
8:00 Kids' Fun Runs
8:30 Half Marathon & 5K Start

(Finish line and course marshals will remain in place for 2 ½ hours for the half marathon)

Note: Rockland Lake State Park charges a parking fee after 8:00 AM. Arrive early!

  FEES:

RRR Members - before April 16th:
1/2 marathon: $30 - 5K: $25

Non Members - before April 16th:
1/2 marathon: $40 - 5K: $35

Kids' Fun Run - $2 (no T-shirt)

After April 18 and RACE DAY, fee is $50 for 1/2 marathon and $40 for 5K.

Registration and pre-race packet pickup will be held on Thursday, April 18th, 4-8PM at Dick's Sporting Goods and Saturday, April 20th at Rockland Lake State Park, North Entrance from noon-3pm.

AWARDS:

$100 to the first place male and female overall finishers for the Half Marathon & 5K Run.

Prizes presented to the top three male and female finishers in the Half Marathon and 5K run for the following age groups:
19 & under, and every five years thereafter.
